He continued to grow under the leadership of Pastor Pierre Mary Silvain at Bethsaida Church in Gonaïves from 1987 to 1993.
Pastor Artus moved to the United States in May 1994 and began his American ministry journey in Texas, where he worked alongside Pastor Moise Lubin at a Methodist church in Wichita Falls. In 1997, he settled in Orlando, Florida, where he continued his pastoral work at Première Église Haïtienne d’Orlando under Pastor Henry Britus (1997–2005), followed by ministry efforts with Pastors Jean-Claude Dorsainvil (2006–2007) and Stephen Emil (2007–2009).
In July 2010, Pastor Artus was officially ordained into ministry by Pastor Oreste Saint-Filus. He went on to lead several congregations, including Eglise Évangélique Baptiste de Triomphe and later established a new ministry in Orlando on June 2, 2013.
Committed to theological training, Pastor Artus earned both a Certificate and a Diploma in Bible and Theology from Institut Biblique Évangélique d’Orlando, graduating in 2014 and 2016, respectively. He grounds his ministry in 2 Timothy 3:16–17, equipping believers through the inspired Word of God for every good work.
